We love Mickey in our home…so we jumped at the chance to take the boys to Disney World when Paul had some meetings scheduled in Orlando.
We stayed at the lovely Grande Floridian Hotel at the Disney resort. Let me tell ya, Disney does it right! Quick fact… there are actual Disney Hospitality college courses that teach about thier business model and how to treat guests. All of my years of working in hospitality bring out the nerd in me, sorry. I find it facsinating!
Here are some highlights from our trip!
The boys loved meeting all of the characters. We made reservations for a character breakfast, which was wonderful. The boys got personalized time with a lot of characters!
Lucas really enjoyed riding all of the rides this trip. I was fun to watch him get excited about it.
Here is me and the boys with Cat in the Hat and the Things.
The Hogsmead area of Universal Studios was really fun for Ezra. Although the rides were a bit advanced for him he really enjoyed taking in the world of Harry Potter. They did a great job recreating it! Hogwarts was amazing to walk through. There were talking paintings, floating candles and professor Dumbledor.
Ezra even went and got “fitted” for a wand at Olivander’s Shop!
Here he is with the wizards.
The awesome Sleeping Beauty Castle!
This is Lucas’ current favorite show so it was neat that he got to meet Jake, from Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
It wouldn’t be a trip to Disney without seeing Minnie and Mickey Mouse!
It was wonderful for us to get away for a week. We have some magical memories from our time there!
