My husband is out of town for the Phish Concert in Telluride. Here is what my time looked like.
Drop kids off at Preschool. Run to the tanning bed. Yes, I know it is bad for me but it makes me feel good sometimes, and I rarely go. Stop by the grocery store to pick up a few items to tide me over while Husband is out of town. Chocolate!
Morning Meeting with the Director of the Preschool to discuss an opportunity to help with the fall fundraiser in a way to promote and introduce my business to all of the parents. Giggle Tree Events will be hosting a Royalty camp this fall for all of the children! How fun is that! I am so happy to have partnered with this preschool. They are the most desirable preschool in Montrose and most of the parents have money to spend…like on thier children’s parties.
Hurry to the Preschool to pick up. Go home and have lunch. Nap…. Yes, I said it. Nap! Yay!
I recieved an invite from my good friend Amy for dinner since her husband was up in Telluride too. Went to her house and had the most fabulous fish tacos ever!
By the time I got home Lucas was pooped and went to be and I got busy painting our bedroom. Did not get too far though. Decided to watch The Breakfast Club on Netflix on Demand to study for an 80’s theme party I have coming up soon.
Fell asleep and was awoken by Husband calling at 12:30 to say goodnight… so sweet.
Woke up this morning and just wanted to relax so me and the boys snuggled in and watched movies for most of the morning.
Cleaned the house a bit… just a bit. Hey, husband is out of town and I want to relax. So I did. A lot.
Got an email from a friend who had a ticket for tonight at last minute. Tried to find a sitter. Did not try too hard, but figured if it was meant to be it would be. Passed the ticket on to a friend of mine whose husband wanted to go very badly and could not get a ticket. Seriously they were hard to come by. So that made me feel good.
My mother, brother and sister in law and thier sweet little 2 month old baby girl Annabelle came over and we ordered take out. How lazy am I?
After they left I have been painting, which is not so fun without someone to paint with. Looking good so far though.
Can’t wait for my husband to get home so I won’t be so lonely and can have a painting buddy!
